If you riding in a side car do you have to wear a motorcycle helmet?
If your motocycle has a side car you do not need a motocyle license to drive it. So does the helmet law apply to a motocyle with a side car?
That's all going to depend on where you are.
Helmet laws do apply.
Adding a sidecar does not change the classification of the vehicle. It's still a motorcycle.
And you need a Motorcyle license to operate it.
That's the way it is in NH. Some states have an additonal license requirement for the sidecar. WA is one, I think.

Do you want to feel like your are driving the exotic super car of your dreams? One step in that direction is to have the interior of your car fitted out with a carbon fiber dash trim kit.
The top sports cars in the world, like the Ferrari Enzo, use carbon fiber in their composition. And manufactures like Ferrari leave the fiber visible in the cockpit. Other manufacturers like Mercedes build their super cars like the SL65 AMG Black out of this material. So start your dream by installing a carbon fiber dash kit.
It's not very hard to install and if you take your time you should be able to do a professional job of installation. The key is to read over the installation instructions very carefully and follow each step. Remember the old saying about "haste makes waste". You want your car to really look sharp - so relax and take your time.
There are a variety of different carbon fiber dash kits around. Many different brands of kits can be found with simple searches. You should be looking for one that offers some or all of the following:
- Laser cutting of the material, to insure perfect dimensions and an exact fit.
- Protection from harmful UV rays. This is some type of overcoat on the dash material.
- Complete instructions on how to install.
- A guarantee for the life of the car, which will protect you from fading, peeling and other potential problems.
- A simple way to attach the carbon fiber overlay to your dash. Some kits use double sided adhesive and other trim kits have you apply an adhesive directly to your car's dash.
- A kit that gives you all of the individual pieces that you need for your application.
- A dash kit that was created for your brand, year, and model of car, from the OEM specifications.
Remember that the carbon fiber will give your car a high tech and racy look. You should also look around for other accessories that will complement this new image.
