Does anybody know when the Clippers are going to have another throwback game?

Please provide the date and time of the game if so. They used to be called the Buffalo Braves and I went to one of their throwback games and the jerseys they wore were really cool and i would like to see another one of these games.

For those of us who are not cricket fans if we were to hear the expression 20/20 we would think of 20/20 vision; but for the cricket lover the phrase 20/20 brings up a completely different vision! Often written as Twenty20 cricket this is a relatively recent form of the traditional cricket game and the vision for a Twenty20 cricket fan in 2010 could be spending time in Barbados, St. Lucia, Guyana or St. Kitts to watch the next World 20/20.

So what is Twenty20 cricket and when did it start? In 2003 this form of cricket also referred to as T20 cricket was introduced in the United Kingdom for professional inter-county competitions by the England and Wales Cricket Board. The game involved two teams each of whom has a single innings and they are batting for a maximum of 20 overs.

Twenty20 Cricket matches last around three and a half hours which means that the game is brought more in line with other popular sports. It has been very successful in achieving its aim of creating a lively game which would be attractive to live spectators as well as TV viewers. It has now spread wildly around the cricket world so that on most international tours there will be at least one T20 match played.

The first Twenty20 International Cricket Match took place on 17th February 2005 between Australia and New Zealand. It was approached in a light hearted way with both teams wearing kit similar to that worn in the 1980s plus some players taking it to the next level by sporting 1980's hairstyles, beards and moustaches; competing in cricket and for the best retro look at the same time! At least the T20 cricket match was won by Australia but as it was so clear that they were the winners the players and umpires started to take things less seriously and Billy Bowden even produced a red card, which are not normally used in cricket.

The inaugural World Twenty20 was played in South Africa in 2007 where India defeated Pakistan by five runs. In 2009 Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets. The third ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Tournament will be held in the West Indies in April and May 2010. It promises the world's best cricketing talent in this thrilling and fast tournament.

The ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Tournament will take place in Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and Guyana from 30th April to 16th May 2010. With locations like these even a person who has not followed cricket before could easily be tempted to go on a Twenty20 cricket tour. Barbados has actually opened a museum in November 2009 which is called the Cricket Legends of Barbados Museum and those who go there on these cricket tours can also enjoy some of the best beaches around. In fact the Crane Beach was rated one of the ten best beaches in the world by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. St. Lucia, another location included in these Twenty20 cricket tours, has an amazing combination of tropical bliss as well as diving, snorkeling, spa pampering and so much more.

Some critics may say that although the T20 cricket format has proved so successful it could be influencing youngsters to being misguided about the game thinking it is all about trying to hit 6s and 4s. However the impact in general has been extremely positive and the Twenty20 game is a more athletic and explosive form of cricket.

Will the Detroit Red Wings injured players be back for the final on saturday night and why such a little break?

The Detroit red wings beat the hawks in five and are only getting 2 days plus most of saturday to rest until the 7.30 game. I say if Lidstrom, Datsyuk ,Ericsson are back Detroit takes it in max 6 games.

Lidstrom will be back. Ericcson will probably be back. Datsyuk will be evaluated Saturday.

Neither team is too happy with only two and three days rest but NBC wants the games on this weekend. Money talks. Bet the two days off between some of the games in the last rounds seem pretty silly now.

How can I cut my husbands hair-good-at home?

My husband is sick of going in to get his hair cut. He wears it in a short typical modern guy style. He is half asian so his hair is a bit on the thick/course side. We dont want to buy books or videos, but want to learn any tricks including blending. We have new Oster clippers. Any advice?

my suggestion would be to make sure if you use clippers that u make sure it comes with a guard that controls how much you cut off..always cut a guys hair clipper over comb...but it might be alot easier if you use scissors...professional ones...you can buy these at Sallys Beauty Supply...you will need a rat tail comb or a regular comb, a spray bottle, a cape, now here are some tips for you...if he wants it even...bring the hair down to natural fall meaning you start at the nape...take a 1/4 part(from 4 parts) and you cut your guide..you will follow this guide throughout the head...if you just bring it straight down...0 degrees from the middle of each part and not pull on the hair it will be very accurate and very straight...if you want layers on his hair bring it up to 90 degrees...to check an area cut ur section in two bring it out horizontal...it should match...if his hair is short..it might be easier to cut it dry to avoid taking his hair too short..good luck i hope i helped you out tonight?

Well, one of the primary needs of both men and women is the undergarments and these days there have been so many trends in these garments that when you land up in a place for their shopping you would just be eye struck of what to buy and what not to buy. This article will widen your horizons of knowledge about how and when these undergarments came into existence.

Starting of with the history of men's undergarments, the archaeologists have found that almost about 7000 years ago, the prehistoric men wore loin cloths under their cloths. In the two thousand B.C., it was the Egyptians, who wore these loin cloths beneath their skirts. They wore loin cloths with the intention that these cloths would be useful to them after their death. One interesting fact that would amaze you is that in the year 1323A.D. King Tutankhamen was buried with almost one hundred and forty five cloths.

As far as the Greeks are concerned, they wrapped a cloth around themselves starting from the neck and ending to just above their knees, however the sides of the cloth would be open but they were fastened with pins all around. However they did not use the under garments but their slaves did wear the under garments.

Another form of undergarments which were worn during those times were the subligaculums, which is a loin cloth worn in the lower body like a shorts. In particular these forms of underwear were worn by the athletes, stage actors.

It was during the medieval period that the underwear gained its significance. It became an important piece of apparel which was worn by all classes of people. The Braies replaced the loin cloths. The braies were made of linen, it was a pair wherein one had to step into the pair pull it up between the legs as we do these days with the underwear and the only difference is that the braies have to be tied on to our waist. In Europe fashion statement was at its boom and underwear was used for giving a proper shape. During this period fashion had become an extremely important priority and as a result various forms of under garments like the cod pieces, stockings, undershirts came into existence.

During the renaissance period the braies became very short and the codpiece became a very essential requirement, in a way braies were just like the shorts which are worn these days and on the other hand cod piece were the typical undergarments worn today. Over the years the shape of cod pieces were customized and they were built in accordance with the shape of the genital area. However the history of underwear has shaped the way how we feel and how we look today.

should compression shorts be worn with boxers underneath? ?

i do not want to chafe, and the compression shorts keep everything in its place. Should i be wearing boxers underneath the compression shorts? thanks a lot...10 points!

I don't have personal experience in this area, but I would imagine that boxers underneath compression shorts would get wrinkled up and irritating. Compression shorts probably have enough support that you don't need anything underneath, but briefs or boxer briefs might still be good for comfort and sweat absorption.

There is also no doubting that the change in the NEXTEL Cup points system, which was implemented by NASCAR in 2004, is shaking things up. One of the big questions this season is whether Jeff Gordon will make it into the 2005 Chase for the Championship. Gordon is currently in 13th place, which is 67 points behind the 10th place driver, Carl Edwards. The 24 team has planned tests at Michigan, Bristol and Richmond in hopes they can turn their season around and finish in the top 10.

It will be interesting to watch Jamie McMurray over the next four races. Currently in 9th place, McMurray is the only Ganassi driver with a chance of making it into the Chase for the Championship. McMurray is going to do everything within his power to ensure he doesn't repeat last years 11th place finish which left him out of the running for the Chase.

The pressure is on Elliott Sadler and Yates teammate Dale Jarrett. These two drivers are in a tie, merely three points outside of 10th place. These drivers need perfect pit stops and flawless cars for each of the next four races to take a place among the top ten. No one should count Childress racer Kevin Harvick out of the running, yet. Sitting in 14th place and 70 points outside of the top ten, Lady Luck can easily escort Harvick into the much coveted top ten standings.

The last four races leading up to the Chase are going to be worth watching. Mistakes here and there, a blown tire, or a speeding on pit row penalty will cost deeply, and can easily rattle around positions 7 through 14. So who will make the Chase for the Championship? It will all be decided at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 night race at Richmond International Speedway on September 10th.

What were Nike Missile bases used for?

Why are they now abandoned? I live in New Jersey and there's one in Old Bridge that's very creepy. There are houses back there with toys still out front. Some of the houses have pictures, clothes, TVS and even what was once food in them. It's almost like something out of the Twilight zone.

The Nike series of missiles started in the late 1940's as anti-aircraft missiles, placed at strategic sites around the country. The Nike B (Hercules) adaptations were more accurate, more powerful, and fast, and were employed to provide defense against incoming ballistic missiles. It's likely that the site you describe is a Nike B or C site. The sites were generally abandoned in 1963 because of the ABM Ban treaty, which banned the US and Soviet Union from building up anti-missile technologies.

Can any collectors of basketball cards help me with this?

I have a 06/07 Press Pass Legendary Legacy Jerry West autographed card # 4 of 25. The only West cards priced by Beckett and Tuff Stuff are # to 175. It is different than the regular West card only because of the blue color on it and the numbering. I have hunted on the web for the price of this card.
Also I have a 06/07 Upper Deck Black Rookie Quad Jersey card with J.J.Redick, Shelden Williams, Rudy Gay and Ronnie Brewer on it but cant find any pricing for 06/07 U.D. Black!
ANY help or answer would be appreciated thank u!
